A brown coloured grasshopper, with its colouration looking very much like that of a dried-up durian leaf. Not surprisingly, I do have a durian tree out in my front-yard.
My second encounter with this grasshopper species. The first was in 2015, if I am not mistaken.
Unfortunately, I failed in finding out the name of this species - just couldn't find anything about it on the web. Anybody knows?
UPDATE - May 11, 2024

Hey! Thanks for your effort.
DeleteYou know what, from my observation, the link that you provide might be the same species as what I have photographed above. There are a few more photos from the same photographer (from Thailand) but at different perspective. Unfortunately, the grasshopper's name was not given in the description.
Thanks again.
I´m glad to help you!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I saw that is no name but I send you the link to check is was your grasshopper
Now that I know it, I will looking for more. Maybe I have luck!!!
One place that I haven't look in is in Facebook pages. They seem to escape Google searches for some reason.
