I was having lunch one fine Sunday afternoon when this bird, pictured above, flew onto my next door neighbour's roof. I was obviously excited since this is my first sighting of this species.
I ran upstairs to get my Canon superzoom, ran downstairs and realised that the bird has gone. I went back upstairs, look out the side window and saw that this bird has flown to another neighbour's roof two doors away. I took a couple of snaps. Although not the best, I was satisfied. Picture quality would have been better if the bird was closer but you can't always get what you want with wild life.
A Blyth's Hawk-Eagle I think what this bird of prey is. Would be great if I could photograph the front of the bird too for identification purposes. But luck was not on my side that day. Next time maybe.
