Python API Libraries For Google Photos

I thought I hit a dead-end when I couldn't find any Python API libraries for uploading my images to Google Photos via Raven+.

But a couple of hour search later via Google for "Google Photos Python Uploads" lead me to this:

I am not 100% positive (can't remember actually with all these computing names and terms) but I think I am now using the "Google API Client Libraries" in Raven+ Version 1.0.507 - using it to authenticate at Googles Blogger via OAuth2.

Now, the task ahead is to set aside some time to test out those example scripts at Githubs as mentioned above. But unfortunately, time is not at a premium for me these days.

If only we could buy time.

    Hi T.C.!!!!! Thanks for looking for an solution to the API problem!!

    If you can do it you must be think that your work will stay several years 'cause the change from Picasa to Photos is new and I don´t think that Google make API changes too soon.

    About your time: you can't buy time but maybe with some minutes for week, in 3 or more months you finish. This is better that nothing.

    I know that you can't buy time, but I can recognize your waste of time. If you let me, I can offer you a post and a permanent ad (obviously free) about Raven+ in the aside of my 2 blogs. I have more that 4000 visits by day (One is a news blog about TV, movies, technology, sports, etc and the other only info about movies)

      Thanks for the offer. In the spirit of Open-Source software, I think I am suppose to give back to society somehow. Working on Raven+ is my way of giving back to society. I use the Open-source software GIMP and Lightzone a lot in post-processing my photos you see.

      I find writing computer programs easier that writing blog posts (or stories in general). So I will decline your offer for now.

      I hope you are patient. This fix may take months.

    Of course I can wait. You made me very happy!!! :)

    About my offer, I wrote not very clear. My offer not was that you write in my blog, the offer was that I will write a post by myself about Raven+, explaining the soft with a linking to your blog and your Instagram.

    This way more people can know your work, and your beautiful photos too

      Sounds good to me, since I don't have to write anything. I had assume guess blog posting initially.

      But don't go overboard in your blog post as my Python programming and photography skills is not that high level - only enough to get me by. Let me get uploads-to-Google-Photos done first okay?
